Erynn & John


 Working out and having a supportive father has motivated Erynn to change her lifestyle. “My Dad has always been an active person with a healthy diet. He is a great role model.”

John and his daughter Erynn have always enjoyed being active together. However, when Erynn moved out of her parents’ house, she stopped exercising and was no longer interested in physical activities.

So when Erynn came to her father, John, and said she was ready to start exercising and get in shape, he was more than happy to assist her. John suggested she check out a number of facilities and Erynn chose the YWCA Health & Fitness Centre because of the comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The next day, John bought her a membership and booked sessions with a personal trainer.

Exercising four days a week, Erynn lost over 40lbs. The key to her success was meeting with her personal trainer once a week while working out on her own three times a week. Although it was physically hard at first, once Erynn made the commitment it was easy to fit a regular exercise schedule into her life.

Erynn is now more conscious of her diet and eating more healthily. Working out regularly and having the support of her father has motivated her to change her lifestyle. “My Dad has always been an active person with a healthy diet. He is a great role model.”

John recently joined Erynn at the YWCA Health & Fitness Centre because of the convenient location. Both agree that the cleanliness of the facility and the friendly people are a big plus for them.

John has noticed many changes in Erynn since she started exercising regularly; one major change, she now has muscles! “I am proud of the commitment Erynn has made. I really wanted her to be able to join me in activities, and now she can. It brings us closer together”.

Erynn is determined to stay committed to her exercise routine. Juggling with full time work and part time studying it will be a challenge, but with the support of her father she will succeed.
