Member Measures
Knowledge is power! On the last Friday of every month, we feature a health measurement administered for you in the lobby: blood pressure, grip strength, blood glucose and BMI (body mass index) are just a few examples. Knowing your numbers as they pertain to health enables you to determine how to best focus your fitness regimen for improved health and well being. A registered nurse will be on hand during peak hours to explain specifics about your results and refer you to professionals if needed.
September 26 - Grip Strength Testing
How strong are you? Test your grip strength for free and determine if there’s room to improve. For more direction on how to add strength and resistance training into your exercise routine, consult a fitness coach, a personal trainer or drop into a class and pick up a few helpful exercises and tips! Testing will take place in the lobby in the following times: 7 - 9 am, 11 - 1 pm, and 4 - 5 pm.
