The YWCA Health + Fitness Centre has one of the best aquatic facilities in Vancouver, hosting an ozone-purified pool and whirlpool. A 25-metre, six-lane pool, with a minimum of two lanes reserved for lengths, provides you with the flexibility to drop in whenever you have time. Finish with a relaxing soak in the whirlpool and/or steam room.

Are you are bored with the same old lengths? Ask the lifeguard for a workout flashcard and try a new routine.

Enhance your workout, take advantage of equipment such as:

  • Floatation belts
  • Fins
  • Hand paddles
  • Webbed gloves

The Health + Fitness Centre offers a variety of fun, educational and competitive aquatic activities and, for your safety, a lifeguard is always on duty. Add some spice to your workout and try something new in the pool:

  • Aquafit Classes on our drop-in schedule
  • Registered Programs including Private Swimming Lessons, Masters Swim and more!
  • Family Swim on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:30 - 2:00pm
